Union Minister Dattatreya's cellphone  stolen, recovered

The cell phone of Union Minister Dattatreya has been recovered and the man who picked it up has been taken into custody.

The person who picked the phone from Dattatreya residence at Ramnagar had gone to the Union minister's home to get a recommendation to visit Srisailam temple.

As the mobile was kept for charging in the front-room, the person from Saroornagar, Gummadi Rajkumar (52), simply picked it up in the belief that nobody was looking at him.

After some time, Dattatreya came to the front-room, and not finding the phone told his PA about it. The PA lodged a complaint with the Musheerabad police in this regard.

The mobile has since been traced to Saroornagar and Rajkumar taken into custody.
