Microsoft and Facebook coming up with 6,600 km cable wire in Atlantic Ocean
As the world is increasingly moving toward a future based on cloud computing, Microsoft and Facebook have come together to build a sub sea cable wire across Atlantic Ocean.
In order to meet customers' demand for high speed internet connection, a high-speed Internet cable across the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean is desired by them.
The cable, measuring 6,600 km will be the highest-capacity cable, connecting United States (US) with southern Europe, in Spain.
Later, it will be connected to network hubs in other countries in Africa and Asia.
