Once Again AP Govt Focuses On New Designs For Amaravati
One could wonder seeing that Andhra Pradesh state is still not having its capital.
The AP government, after the state division has chalked out plans with foreign countries for the design of its state capital and government buildings.
Once again the state government has focussed on the designs of state capital Amaravati and it is making plans in this regard.
Maki and Associates, a world-renowned Japanese Architecture firm has designed iconic buildings of State Assembly, Secretariat and High Court in Andhra Pradesh capital Amaravati,
there developed criticism from some section of people.
The design was finalised by the jury of six renowned architects among the designs submitted by Richard Rogers (England) and DV Joshi Architects (India) and Maki and Associates (Japan).
Minister Narayana has held a meeting with eight architecture firms and they have presented their designs by means of power point presentation.
On the end of the day, the best one will be picked up and finally, it will take shape along with the landscape design of Japan's Maki and Associates.
