A new passport office is coming up in Vijayawada- Venkaiah Naidu.
The union urban affairs minister Venakaih Naidu said that a new passport office is coming up in Vijayawada.
The union minister, while addressing the media on Saturday said that this piece of information was intimated to him by union external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj officially and also personally intimated him.
The union minister said that passport office is exclusively meant for AP people as they can not always come to Hyderabad and face other litigations.
The union minister said that after the state capital Amaravati is fully formed, the said passport office will be shifted to Amaravati.
He has also clarified on the occasion that railway zone will be coming up in the state and other promises willbe fulfilled mentioned in the state re-organisation act.
