Actress Prema files for divorce
Yesteryear actress Prema, who established herself in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada movies, has approached the family court on divorce issue.
The actress sought separation from her husband Jeevan Appachchu.
She is learnt to have filed a petition in the court seeking divorce under the Hindu Marriage Act Section 13(D).
Kannada film actress Prema married Appachchu, a software industrialist, in 2006.
It is to be mentioned here that the couple had been living separately for the last few years due to irreconcilable differences.
Neravanda Chengappa Prema, a native of Kodagu, debuted in Sandalwood with 'Savyasachi' alongside Shivaraj Kumar.
Coming to her performance skills, she received the Karnataka State Film Award and Filmfare Best Actress awards for her Sandalwood role.
She also received Screen Videocon Award for Best Actress, Cinema Express Award for Best Actress,
Chitrapremigala Sangha Award and Devikarani Memorial Award.
