KTR impresses central leaders on Mission Bhagiratha
Telangana IT and Panchayathi Raj Minister K. Taraka Ramarao, popularly known as KTR, is stealing the hearts of BJP leaders at the Central level by his knowledge on issues, whereas State party leaders are running him down for enabling corruption by contractors and so on.
On Wednesday, KTR gave a power point presentation on the TRS water grid programme, Mission Bhagiratha, to Central leaders, including Union Minister Veerendra Singh, in Mumbai.
All the leaders were impressed by the presentation done on his own by KTR.
Veerendra Singh was particularly overwhelmed to the extent that he said such programmes would be highly beneficial to the water scarcity regions in the entire country.
Also, Veerendra praised KTR's command on language.
The Central Minister hoped that not only by presentation, KTR should also make the Mission a reality.
In contrast, the Telangana BJP leaders see Mission Bhagiratha as a means being provided for the contractor-government nexus.
Hereafter the state leaders should think twice before attacking Bhagiratha.
They can await the implementation of the project.
If the Mission could solve the water scarcity in Telangana, it should be implemented round the country, thanks to KTR.
