Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev announces Rs 2 cr for yoga university
Yoga Guru and spiritual leader Baba Ramdev has announced a donation of Rs. 2 cr to set up a Yoga university at Imphal, capital of Manipur.
He said that the said amount would be sanc-tioned to set up a branch of Acharyakulam yoga day boarding school in Manipur.
Ramdev is camping at Imphal as part of his drive to teach yoga to as many persons as possible.
During his maiden visit to the State, Yoga Guru urged the people of the State to attend the yoga treatment and meditation camp to be organised by Bharat Swabhi-man and Patanjali Yog Samiti at Hapta Kangjeibung .
A huge number of people in Imphal attended the camp.
This is rare in a Christian dominated society.
Also Ramdev told them that Yoga is good for health and develops immunity even to chronic diseases.
