I.Y.R. Krishna Rao takes charge as A.P. Brahmin Welfare Corporation Chairman

I.Y.R. Krishna Rao, IAS, former Chief Secretary has assumed charge as Chairman, A.P. Brahmin Welfare Corporation (APBWC) and A.P. Endowments Archakas and other Employees Welfare Fund Trust.

He occupied the prestigious seat on February 14 at Dharmika Bhavan, Endowments Department, Tilak Road, Abids.

Talking to newsmen, first of all he thanked AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu for giving the opportunity to serve the important post.

Then he has highlighted about the various activities associated with A.P. Brahmin Welfare Corporation (APBWC) and the achievements so far it witnessed.

He said that  'Sri Krishna – Sudama Endowment Scheme'  will be launched  by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu very soon, which will focus on overall development which includes economic, social, religious and cultural life of Brahmins.

 Further he said that corporation will extend its services towards health insurance, food and shelter for destitute, widows and elderly, and construction of Aarama Kshetrams and Community Halls for the community.
