Akkineni Nagarjuna calls on minister KTR



Telugu veteran actor Akkineni Nagarjuna has called Telangana IT Minister K. Taraka Ramarao(KTR) in a live TV show on Wednesday.

Actor Nagarjuna, who made a surprise appearance in TV show and spoke to KTR has pleaded with him against film piracy.

Nagarjuna told KTR that film piracy was threatening the film industry as a whole.

The Tollywood star informed KTR that several films were lined up for release this Sankranti season.

Nagarjuna, who hailed KTR as an important asset to Telangana, suggested him to watch his upcoming movie Soggade Chinni Nayana which is slated for release on January 15.

KTR said he was a great fan of Nag ever since he saw `Siva'.

The Telangana It and Panchayati Raj minister also assured Nag that his government would take all necessary measures to curb the film piracy menace.

 It has been reported that actor Nagarjuna reiterating the demand would surely add weight.
