Priyanka Chopra nominated for Shorty Awards

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, aged 33 year, who became popular with a TV series award for her performance as an FBI recruit in American series Quantico and with her performance in Hindi movie Bajirao Masthani, has bagged a nomination in the best actress category at the 8th Annual Shorty Awards.

It is a very big pleasant surprise for the actress as she was honoured with the best actress award for her performance of a FBI recruit in American TV series 'Quantico' few weeks ago.

According to Hollywood sources, the actress will be competing with  Cara Delevingne, Amandla Stenberg,  Gabourey Sidibe, Elizabeth Banks, Kerry Washington, Maisie Williams,  Reese Witherspoon, Olivia Wilde, Taraji P Henson, Uzo Aduba and Zendaya

It is said that the  awards will be held in April in New York City and will be available via live stream.

 It is to be mentioned here that that Shorty Awards depict the best content across the social media platform including Facebook ,Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube and Instagram.
