Spurious liquor probe : AP Govt constitutes SIT
Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to probe into spurious liquor case at a wine shop in Krishnalanka area in Vijayawada by constituting a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by DIG Mahesh Chandra Ladda.
It is to be mentioned here that spurious liquor incident has claimed five lives and 29 others were hospitalised in Vijayawada on December 7.
DGP J V Ramudu told reporters that they are yet to get the Forensic Laboratories report and after that only they will be able to tell the cause of death.
Director General of Police said that after the probe by SIT, the accused will be punished.
