Hyderabad Metro Rail Works Face Problems At Sultan Bazar In Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Dec 26: The Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd managing director and chief executive NVS Reddy today announced that the tow between the HMRL and the traders at Sultan Bazaar near Koti ended successfully.
Speaking to media, Reddy said on the directions of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao the HMRL will be not only be providing a generous package to the displaced shop owners and other vendors, but it will also develop the spot as an attractive shoppers' paradise.
He also announced that they are also preparing plans on the chief minister's suggestion to construct a high speed metro rail from Uppal to Yadadri.
On the other hand, obstruction is still seen in Metro rail works at certain places in Hyderabad.
As part of it, some of the businessmen at Sultan Bazar have staged protest near Metro Bhavan and demanded that there should be re-alignment of Metro rail works.
They were against the laying of Metro Railway tracks passing through Sultan Bazar.
The protesters on the occasion, have made it clear that suicide is another option if their demands are not fulfilled.
