'King of Football' Pele arrives in Delhi for the 1st time

King of Football Pele has visited India after 38 years.

 After his Kolkata visit, Pele set foot in Delhi, where he got a warm reception on his first visit.

Thrice World Cup winner, Pele was greeted by Air Force Sports Control Board secretary Vijay Yadav and director Souvik Bhattacharya.

Pele, who turns 75 on October 23, will be the chief guest of the Under-17 boys final match of the Subroto Cup on October 16.

The last time the Brazilian 'Black pearl' was in India was in 1977 with New York Cosmos for an exhibition match with Mohun Bagan.
