AP gearing up for 'Smart Pulse Survey'
Hyderabad, Aug 04: The Andhra Pradesh government is making elaborate arrangements to conduct Smart Pulse Survey across the state.
The government has already issued orders to this effect. The officials will integrate the information collected in the survey with Aadhaar data of AP residents.
The government planned the survey to weed out bogus beneficiaries in various welfare schemes Field staff armed with tablets will conduct a door to door survey to ascertain the socio-economic status of people and integrate the data with their Aadhaar data.
The complete information will be made available online and all the departments would access it. Sources said that government will soon make a statement on the survey.
