IPL Governing Council proposes two new teams



The IPL Governing Council has decided to have two new teams from the next season onward.

 The Council took the decision after going through the recommendations of the Working Group.

It has also gone through the recommendation being sent from Working Group that has proposed the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) under new managements.

 Tenders would be called for in the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) of BCCI, that is to take place in September.

 It may be mentioned that CSK and RR were banned from the IPL for two years by the Lodha committee that was appointed by the Supreme Court .
