Bal Thackeray biopic on cards

Mumbai, Aug 17: If everything goes as per plan, a biopic will be made on legendary politician and Shiv Sena party founder Bal Thackeray.

According to reports, Bal Thackeray's daugther-in-law Smitha Thackeray will produce the movie. Smitha said that her son Rahul pursued filmmaking course in Canada and worked as Assistant Director for PK movie and he would help in filming the movie.

The movie is titled 'Saheb' and shooting will start at the end of this year. So far the film cast was not finalised. According to Smitha, an actor with good voice would be roped in to play the role of Bal Thackeray.

The movie will be released on the occasion of Bala Saheb's birth anniversary on January 23, 2017.  The  movie was intended to make the future generations and students aware of Bala Saheb's greatness.
