KCR announces new industrial policy
Hyderabad, June 12: The Telangana government has released its prestigious new industrial policy at HCC in Madapur on Friday.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao presented the salient features of the new policy to a gathering of more than 2,000 industrialists, representatives of various companies, officials, people's representatives etc.
Some of the features of the policy are: 1.60 lakh acres land ready for establishing industries; appointment of Special Officer for monitoring the functioning of various industries; 24 hours continuous power supply to all industries; on-line application submission for the setting up of industry and permission will be granted within two weeks; and, chasing cell in Chief Minister's office.
