Andhra Pradesh,Telangana keen to invite PM Modi for Godavari Pushkaralu
The governments of both the two Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are taking the issue of Godavari Pushkarulu as prestigious event and want to turn it as mega event.
Godavari Pushkaralu, which is all set to be celebrated and organised on July 14,2015 has been witnessing the utmost attention by both governments of Telangana.
As large number of devotees are expected from across the states and country to attend the Godavari Pushkaralu , both the governments are not leaving any chance to witness bitter experience. Huge arrangements are being expected keeping the needs and interests of the devotees including the security arrangements.
It has been reported that both states of AP and Telangana have invited PM Narendra Modi to attend the Godavari Pushkaralu on July 14,2015.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister Office is reportedly learnt to be in a fix over the issue related with the participation of the PM Modi in the prestigious event.
It has been learnt from the sources that Prime Minister's Office(PMO) has not confirmed the participation of PM Modi neither in AP state nor in Telangana state.
Telangana Endow Minister A Indra Kiran Reddy , when contacted has released the statement saying that Telangana government has invited both PM Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee.
Godavari Pushkaralu has been celebrated once in 12 years. Bhadrachalam temple is expected to witness devotees in crores during 12 days event commencing from July, 2015.
Pushkaram is an Indian festival which has been dedicated to worship rivers.
